Regional Research Program

The Foundation provides socio-economic research for communities and regions. Our program is ongoing and deals primarily with economic, social, demographic, environmental and quality of life issues.

Many of our data series have been operational since 1980 and over time key regional indicators and data collection techniques have been significantly extended and enhanced. In recent years we have focussed on issues relating to economic, social, environmental and quality of life considerations for communities.

Our key regional data bases focus on:

Hunter, Upper Hunter and Central Coast regional economies
Investment within the Hunter Region
Input-Output modelling for the Hunter Region
